You guessed it; Monday is my favorite day of the week. There is a sense of renewal that comes with a week starting over. Anything seems possible. And really, you only have seven days until you can start fresh again.
So here we are, New Year's Eve 2015, and that means tomorrow we start fresh. 2015 will be in the past, and a brand new 2016 will be ours to make of it what we want.
New Year's Eve and New Year's Day is a great time to set out those goals for 2016. (Remember, goals can change and be modified. So by doing so, doesn't mean you lost your way.) It's a great time to look back and reflect on extraordinary times and on times that you could grow from since they might not have gone your way.
Some of my goals are always the same. Lose some weight. Get more exercise. Organize and clean the house, those goals are always worth working on. I plan to blog more, in 2016. Write more books. Make more money. Save more money. But most of all, I plan to make a lot of memories with my kids. I can't think of a better goal.
For 2016, I hope to bring my blog readers eve more insight on life with older kiddos. I also hope to inspire you to live life positively. Join me each day for my new series of posts, Living Positive in 2016. Every day we will explore a positive word to focus on to make the best of 2016.
So here's to 2016 and everything it offers.
Happy New Year,
and This House of Boys
